Stuffed Pav/Bun (Bun Nirachath)

Stuffed Bun/ Bun Nirachath is a famous Ramadan Recipe in the Malabar Region. The traditional ‘Bun Nirachath’ is prepared by using brain roast or any other spicy meat filling. You can use any filling of your choice. Here , I have prepared this tasty snack with a less spicy Chicken- Veg mix as the filling, as it also suitable as a kids snack.

Pazham Vattiyath/Semi fried banana slices

Semi fried banana slices / Pazham Vattiyath is a famous evening snack in Kerala. It is nothing but banana slices, semi fried in pure ghee. It tastes awesome as the banana pieces are cooked in hot pure ghee. We can have it alone as a snack or along with bread slices also as a heavy meal.

Dates Marie Cookies

Dates are highly nutritional. They have a lot of medicinal properties and are good for fight ageing , constipation and maintaining healthy skin, hair and muscle tone.

Here I am preparing a simple snack of dates with Marie biscuits. You just have to mix them together, nothing else as difficult.

As dates are a high source of energy, you can put them in your kid’s snack box.

Some kinds of dates stick in our teeth while eating. In such cases, they can be easily converted into these snacks and can have it without any teeth problems.
