Chicken Biriyani (Thalassery Style)


Biriyani, as we all know is the king of meals and the first thing to come in my mind 4 any special occasion. There are many varieties of biriyani ranging from hyderabadi to thalassery based on the way of preparation.I think , Chicken Biriyani is the most favourite one among all these varieties.  Today’s Special is Chicken Biriyani, prepared in thalassery style, a simple and easy preparation.

Chicken Manchurian

    
Chicken Manchurian is one of my all time favorite Chinese dishes. Chicken cubes are deep fried and dipped in a spicy sauce having all the true flavors of ginger, garlic etc. After a number of tests and trials, I have got an easy recipe for this one.  Here I am sharing it with you...Try and Enjoy!!!!

KFC  is one of the famous fast food hub for most of the fried chicken lovers.These crispy and crunchy fries are really mouthwatering. After having it a number of times from such food corners, i  thought of bringing the same taste and flavour in my plates @  kitchen. After a number of researches and experiments (flops were there ) ,  i have ended up with a simple recipe which gives the perfect aroma and flavour of KFC. Kunhipathiri/ Kozhi Pidi / Steamed Rice coins in chicken gravy is a typical Malabar dish with all the tastes of chicken ,pathiri  and coconut blended together. It has various names as well as various preparation methods in different areas of Malabar . But the basic method is the same as to mix the steamed rice coins/pathiri with the chicken gravy and grinded coconut . You can have it as it is as an evening snack or for dinner and it doesn’t need any side dishes .

Delicious Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is an Indian classic dish from the Punjab region which is now popular  in many countries all over the world. It can be made as mild or spicy as you wish. It is a full flavoured dish that complements the chicken well. 

I still remember the day I prepared this dish first. Two years back, on one bright Sunday morning,  when I was about to prepare chicken curry for lunch, my husband asked me : " why don't you try  something different, like butter chicken?" .I searched in my handbooks for the recipe and I got an easy one. Although it was not a great success that day, I came up with a wonderful dish finally after the initial trials. Here I am sharing with you all the tips and tricks I am using to make it delicious.
