Chicken Parcel



A different Chicken Snack!!!



Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken                    - 200 gm
Onion, finely chopped                        - 1
Green Chilly, chopped            - 1
Ginger garlic paste                  - 1tsp
Pepper Powder                        - ½ tsp

Red Chilli Powder                  - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder                    - ¼ tsp

Red Orange Colour                             - a pinch

Plain Flour/ Maida                  - 1 ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Water for making dough
Oil

Method:-

Preparing the filling:-

Cook Chicken pieces with red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Let it cool. Shred it and keep aside.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and saute onion.
Add green chilli, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder and salt to taste.
Add shredded chicken and mix well.
Now the filling is ready.

Let it cool and keep aside.

Preparing parcels:-

In a bowl, knead ¼ cup of plain flour , salt , a pinch of red color and water to  make a smooth dough.
Flatten it to a big circle and cut thin strips from it.Keep them aside.



Make a smooth dough with 1 cup of plain flour, salt and water in another bowl.

Make small balls out of it and roll out them into small circles (like puri).

Add 1 tbsp of chicken filling in the centre of each puri and fold it like a parcel.





Pack it using thin coloured strips like this.




Repeat the same with the remaining dough.


Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them.


Serve hot with tomoto sauce.
