Pazham Vattiyath/Semi fried banana slices

Semi fried banana slices / Pazham Vattiyath is a famous evening snack in Kerala. It is nothing but banana slices, semi fried in pure ghee. It tastes awesome as the banana pieces are cooked in hot pure ghee. We can have it alone as a snack or along with bread slices also as a heavy meal.



Ingredients:-
Banana                                    - 2
Pure ghee                    - 2 tbsp
Sugar                           - 1 tsp

Method:-
Cut banana diagonally into thin slices.
Heat a non stick flat pan/ dosa pan  and add 2 tbsp of pure ghee.
Place banana slices carefully in the hot pure ghee.

When the sides are almost fried, turn each slice upside down using a fork.

When both the sides are fried well, transfer banana slices into a plate.


Sprinkle 1 tsp sugar over hot banana slices.
Serve when it becomes warm.
